The boys first trip to India Print E-mail

This was the last leg of our trip to India.  We were in a small plane without AC and Warren was sweating to death.  The plane was so small they even took our diaper bag (from then on we carried a set of emergency supplies in our pockets).  Of course this meant Warren promptly needed a new diaper.  Rowan got severely plane sick all over himself and Connie because of all the bumps.  If he wasn't sleeping he was crying for the next 3 hours.  We were very glad to settle in to our apartment in Silchar that evening.

Each day the boys seem to recognize each other a little more.  Usually they just like to suck on each other's appendages (arms, hands, feet, head). They loved to look out the plane windows, especially Warren.

Our friends in Silchar had two beautiful bamboo cribs made for the boys.  We put them on top of the spare beds so we could use the mosquito nets.

The group that worked with us at Silchar the first week we were there.  On far left is consultant Sana Singh.  To his right are the two Simte translators.  To the immediate right of Connie's dad is the Bishnupriya translator and then the Darlong translator.  On Christy's left is Shashanka and then Mishak, the two BIIS office workers.
