We have three weeks at home before we hit the road again. Our biggest prayer request probably sounds familiar: pray we can get a lot done in the little time we have! We're really behind on some of our projects and desperately need to get them done before our quickly approaching Asia trip.

We have some churches we still need to report in before the year is past and we were able to arrange the services around Thanksgiving so we can spend the holiday with Connie's family in Maine. We're in Georgetown, Mass and New Boston, New Hampshire the first Sunday and then Rowley, Mass for the following Sunday. Our original plan was to leave from there for Michigan but Connie's parents are involved in a translation workshop in Maine with our Tenek translator from Mexico the following two weeks. They are inviting pastors and people from all the area churches to attend the workshop on November 30th. They asked us to stay and help so we're staying an extra week. If you would like to attend please let us know. It's hard to understand how we do this work when we don't know the language. You could come see for yourself how it is done. They're going to have the workshop that day at West Hampden Baptist Church so there will be plenty of room for anyone who wants to come. If you want times, directions, etc. email us and we'd be happy to provide them. We will get home Dec 2 or 3 and then we will be home until we leave for Asia. Things are looking more promising that our workshops will go as planned but please continue to pray in that regard. We will be applying for our visas the first week of December

The boys are doing well, nothing worse than the sniffles. These pictures were taken at a recent trip to the Children's Museum here in Grand Rapids. Our grandmothers are still not doing well so please pray for them. We were not able to get our tickets to Asia for a lower price but all of our short termers have been able to pay for their tickets. Pray as they still have a lot of funds to raise before we leave. Connie's dad arrives back in the US today (Sunday). Pray for him as flights have been regularly delayed for hours coming from Peru and then he has 3 more flights after he arrives in the US in order to get to Northland.
