Cornerstone Baptist Church, Camden, Maine
164 Cobb Rd., Camden, ME 04843  (207) 236-0687

Both of our families are from Maine and Birch was living there when we met.  Connie's sending church was in Michigan, however, where she had gone to college.  When God led us together we spent a lot of time praying about what God would have us do concerning a home church.  We both already had strong ties and friendships with Cornerstone and God soon led us to join their body.  They are one of the greatest blessings God has given us and we are truly grateful for their unending support.  If you are ever in Maine and need a church to visit you should definitely come.  Our pastor is Pastor Timothy Gillam and we promise everyone will make you feel at home.

RECOMMENDATION FROM OUR PASTOR:
In John chapter 6, after delivering a discourse on God’s sovereignty in salvation, it says that many of the disciples left following Jesus. Verses 67 and 68 say: Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life.

What a privilege we have to possess the words of eternal life in our own language. In our country we have opportunities to not only have a Bible of our own, but to have many Bibles to read and study. While we have this privilege, there are millions who still await the blessing of having the Word of God in their own language.

It is my privilege, as their pastor and on behalf of our church, to commend Birch and Connie Champeon to you. Their ministry is vital at this time to aid local churches in areas of this world, who do not have a Bible, in translating and producing copies of the Word of God, for their people.

By Grace Alone,
Timothy A. Gillam, Pastor
Cornerstone Baptist Church Camden, ME
